Calls for Art

 

Arts4All Florida is seeking an artist to create Student-of-the-Month Trophies. These trophies are awarded to students with disabilities aged 5-22 who exemplify outstanding work in and through the arts. The student artist may be accomplished in the visual arts, music, dance, theater, or literary arts, or merely demonstrate amazing personal achievement and leadership through one of the art forms. Each month Arts4All Florida will select one student from across the state of Florida.

For this initial stage of this process, Florida artists are encouraged to submit three selected sculptural works that best display their skills, vision and talent, as related to this project of developing a Student of the Month trophy, along with their artist biography or resume.

Based on the style and vision shown in sculptural works, up to 3 artists will be selected for the next round of application, which will include submitting specific proposals for trophy designs. The selected artist will be responsible for creating 9 Student of the Month trophies that are within the following dimensions requirements: 

- 12x4x4 inches to 12x7x7 inches

- Less than 10 lbs each 

- Have a space for a small, engraved inscription with the awardee name and date, and the Arts4All Florida logo. 

The selected artist will be compensated $100 per trophy- $900 total. 
Artists selected to submit prospective trophy designs will be awarded $50 for their design. Only up to 3 artists will be selected. 

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, we are not accepting specific proposals for trophy designs.
